Mural painting for the Plein Champ festival, Le Mans, France 2026
In this mural, I wanted to reflect on my experience of moving between countries and continents: how we look back on our lives, how each place we have lived in holds a space within us, and how we leave a part of our heart in the places we once called home.
In my experience, the more places you move between, the harder it becomes to fully live in the present moment, in one place. Now, it feels as though I am present in many places at once, carrying fragments of each of them with me.

In this mural, I also wanted to bring together my artistic practice with textiles and integrate some of its principles into the mural itself. Working with textiles has taught me to think in terms of layers, connections, fragments, and the way separate elements can come together to form a whole. I wanted to carry this approach into the mural as a way of reflecting on how places, memories, and experiences become interconnected within us.
